Jack and Jill

Rewriting nursery rhyme "Jack and Jill"into different types/forms

The original rhyme:

Jack and Jill went up the hill

To fetch a pail of water.

Jack fell down and broke his crown,

And Jill came tumbling after.

Up Jack got, and home did trot,

As fast as he could caper,

To old Dame Dob, who patched his nob

With vinegar and brown paper

Narrative

The sun was beating relentlessly on both them, they climbed up the tall hill. Jack insisted that they will race down the hill after fetching the pail of water, and then decide who will be the winner.

In a flash, Jack and Jill ran down the hill with all their might, hoping to outrun each other. However, Jack slipped on a wet patch of grass, and tumbled down the hill. Jill stared at Jack who was seriously injured, blood oozing out from his left leg. Jill brought Jack back home, where he was treated with vinegar and brown paper.

News article

Two children were found injured yesterday. It was known that they said that they were playing on the particular hill across their home and unfortunately, fell down it. There have been reports of saying that the hill was not a safe place to be for small kids and adults should accompany them. "I was foolish to run down that hill when I knew that it was dangerous", says Jack, 9. Therefore, the hill will be cordoned off until further notices.
