When a person drinks to much of Toddy, he/she may be under duress and therefore unable to think properly. So, this is a problem to the family as if he/she is a drunkard the family will be hit badly. As a result of being under duress, he/she may throw tantrum at the victims which is his family members, therefore there would be chaos.
-Societal
In the future, when rumour will start to spread, people will recognise he/she as a drunkard and start to gossip. The "news" will continue to spread and this may be a problem for the drunkard as chances of finding a job will be lesser, therefore the drunkard may not have career in the future society.
-Physiol
Drinking too much toddy may lead to liver failure as it is filled with too much alchohol which is poisonous to the body. In addittion, the person will throw up more often

I think what you have said is right.Having a drunkard in the family is a very big problem especially if that person is their father or mother as they are the ones that usually play the biggest parts in the family. The drunkard of the family might be angry and beat his family up. Like what Ryan said, when everyone hears about someone in the family is a drunkard it will not only affect the drunkard but also the family. Everyone will start judging the family as low class and might not want to interact with them. I hope no one picks up the habit of drinking as it will damage your family and life, physically, socially and mentally.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing the effects of toddy on one person, I really pity Lila and Hari as their father is also a heavy addict of toddy and he is always drunk and also has a heavy debt but he does not care about those things. I also pity Lila's father as drinking toddy will cause a lot of health implicatons such as liver failure and the effect is doubled due to the fact that he is a heavy drinker and drinks toddy everyday from morning till night. Lickily Singapore does not have a lot or even no places selling toddy thus allowing people to not get easily addicted to toddy drinking which may not only affect their but also affect their relationship with their family members. I hope that nobody will get addicted to toddy anymore as it is very harmful.
