The village by the Sea (Reflection

In my opinion, Hari, the main character of the book, "Village by The Sea", is a very successful person. Overcoming obstacles, taking risks, goes on an adventure to work and at the same time support his family. Well, urbanisation is taking place and Hari needs to be independent and look for a job. I think it is a good think that Hari went to Bombay as it is beneficial for him. Being the only one in his family who is still able to work when his parents are down. Beneficial, in a way that he meeds to take up the responsiblility to live on his own, but with the help of other friends of course. Unlike students I see nowadays, Hari is much more responsible, independent that he took the risk to sneak into one of boats in order to travel to Bombay where he will seek his chance to find jobs. In return, money is earned to support the family.

From what I heard, the story "Village by The Sea" is actually a true story! It is just that the author changed the name of the characters. It is like WOW! a boy the age of us is able to go through all that, it is just an amazing feat to overcome. I am sure out there, somewhere, there is someone who is just like Hari.
