Urbanisation lesson

Urbanisation may seem amazing in its ways , but there is always a bad side of it.

Q1(Soil effects)

-Fertilisers left in the soil for a long time after use, will become toxic, killing plants being plant in it, therefore nothing can grow in it/ Infertile land

(Air effects)
-Air pollution due to deadly chemicals being pumped into the air/Can be harmful to humans/(If breathed in excessively)Can cause illnesses such as Asthma, lung cancer, suffocation, and apart from that low visibility.

(Water effects)
-Toxic waste is being discharged into the sea/Water pollution/Marine life will be killed, therefore causing the amount of food, in this case, fish, to decrease.

Q2,

Social effects on villagers
- Forced to quit their jobs/ Overcrowding/ Pollution harmful to health/ Will have to migrate to other places to find jobs

Social effects on Bombayites
-Bombay will be over-populated which will lead to overcrowding/ The number of poor citizens will increase/ There will be more less paid jobs because of over-population

Q3(light pollution)
-When more light is generated, the amount of electricity consumed will be greater, which will result in higher bills/payings for the citizens.

  1. Ya, i agree with what you say! I feel that the government is very selfish in which they swindled the villagers by asking them to sell their land to them and using their land to build factories so that they can earn more money but they themselves do not give them enough jobs and income! The government is some unfair and i think that they should care more about their citizens and people instead of caring for themselves only!
